How can I balance my group class schedule with my existing weekly availability?
Each group class or cohort-based course you create on Edulyte comes with its own pre-determined schedule. As the instructor, you have full control over defining this schedule during the class creation process.
On the other hand, when learners book a private 1-on-1 lesson with you, they select slots from your general weekly availability. You can easily set your preferred availability in the "Preferences" section of your account.
It's important to note that once you publish a group class, learners will not be able to book private lessons that overlap with the schedule of the group class. This ensures that your group class sessions remain dedicated to the enrolled learners without any conflicting bookings.
Here's how your group class schedule can fit with your other teaching activities:
- Customise Your Schedule: With group classes, you have the freedom to set your own schedule based on your availability. You can choose specific days and times that work best for you and align with your existing commitments.
- Plan Ahead: As you create your group classes, you can plan ahead and block out time slots in your schedule for private 1-on-1 lessons. This way, you can ensure a smooth transition between group sessions and individual sessions.
- Avoid Overlapping Time Slots: We recommend carefully managing your group class schedule to avoid any overlapping time slots with your private 1-on-1 lessons. This will ensure that you can fully dedicate your time and attention to each session without any conflicts. Our system will ensure no overlapping slots are offered.
- Utilise Edulyte's Calendar: Our platform provides a calendar feature that allows you to keep track of all your scheduled group classes, private lessons. This will help you stay organised and avoid any scheduling conflicts.
