An intro video of a tutor is a very important step for the screening process. Hence, you also have to record one.
An introduction video must have a duration of one to two minutes.
Your video should address a few important things like - your quick background, why should someone learn from you?
You may use your smartphone to record a video in horizontal/landscape layout/position.

Test your camera, internet connection, and use proper lighting while making a video. If the camera on your computer is not good, then please avoid using that webcam.
The sound quality of a video should be clear and audible. Try using a clip on mic. Make sure there are no background noises.
Position yourself against a clutter free solid colour background.
Dress in a professional or smart casual attire.
Start with a very short introduction of yourself with your relevant/highest qualification. Details are not necessary.
Mention your previous teaching experience, if any. Otherwise provide information of what you have done in the past in the subject you are going to be teaching.
Also include how you will conduct tutorials online, what will be your strategy and stress upon how you will give attention to each student who is present in the session.
Include all necessary information about yourself and try to keep the video short and to the point.
Avoid too many gestures with your hands, as it can be distracting.
Go through your video, edit or record your again depending on the kind of improvement it requires, before submitting it.
You can use video recording apps which are compatible with your system for an effective and captivating video.
