How can I record my introduction video?

An intro video of a tutor is a very important step for the screening process. Hence, you also have to record one.

This introduction video is different from any a specific course/class you offer, its about you. It shows up on your public profile.
Your intro video is what your prospective learners will see for the first time and decide to book a lesson with you.

To make an impactful video, you should do your research and be clear about your teaching objectives.
Before recording, practice well and keep in mind your strengths you want to highlight about yourself.
Remember, you are there to help learners upskill themselves, prepare for a test or solve a doubt. They have a problem and only you can help them!

An introduction video must have a duration of one to two minutes.

So, it is important for you to understand what information should be included and what should be avoided.
A script of the intro video must be effective and  should highlight your teaching and problem solving skills.

Your video should address a few important things like - your quick background, why should someone learn from you?

Talk about benefits from your sessions, what will they learn? How will they learn etc.
The tone should motivate learners to sign up for your classes. Smile and don’t forget to sound confident.

You may use your smartphone to record a video in horizontal/landscape layout/position.
