How do classes work on Edulyte?

Every live class has its own unique web address. You can share this link with friends or on social media.

We currently have three types of classes; 

1. One-on-One Private Tutoring:

Highly customisable / personalised sessions between a tutor and a learner on a video call.

Short regular sessions over a set period of time tend to result in positive impact. 

Learners can ask an unlimited number of questions, clarify doubts or learn a new topic.

One-on-One may not be affordable for all learners across geographies.

Schedule is directly taken from your general weekly availability. 

Learners choose duration (30 minutes, 60 minutes, 90 minutes or 120 minutes) and number of sessions (1 session or 5 sessions).

Tutors can define the discount percentage for the packaged lessons (5 or more).

2. Group Classes:

A tutor works with a small group of learners at the same time. Schedule and price are pre-determined.

Each learner still receives individual attention if the group size is small (2-10) learners.

Group classes are affordable because the cost is shared by learners.

Listed price is what each learner pays for the entire duration of the class. Once the schedule is published you cannot modify it.

3. Trial Classes (One-on-One only):

Discounted trial lessons are an easy way to get familiar with learners.

You can ask any questions, develop a learning plan or simply get to know each other better.

A learner can only have one trial class from any tutor.

- Private Classes

Private classes will not show up in search results. You can create private classes and share with your existing learners. We don't charge any service fee on private classes, tutors only pay the platform fee on all the sales made. Grey dot appears at the top right corner of all private classes.

- Public Classes

All public classes are visible in search results. Edulyte actively promotes all public classes to find potential students for you. Green dot appears at the top right corner of all published classes.
