Writing cannot be ignored in classrooms.

One associates writing with language development. But that is a myopic view of the significance of writing in students’ lives. It receives a cold shoulder in schools when compared to reading. Writing is a great tool to encourage students to delve deeper into the content that they study and draw appropriate connections; between the content and between their own experiences and the content.
